Northern Section
The northern section is located in north Michigan’s forests, lakes and rivers. It includes the eastern upper peninsula and the northern lower peninsula. There are 17 churches and 25 credentialed ministers serving the section. Upper peninsula churches are found in Newberry, St. Ignace, Brimley, Sault Ste. Marie and Kincheloe. In the northern lower peninsula A/G churches are located in Alpena, Atlanta, Boyne City, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Gaylord, Indian River, Lachine, Onaway, Petoskey, Rapid City and Rogers City.
Lost Valley Bible Camp is located in the heart of the section and is a center for camping activity in the summer months.

CHURCH PLANTING AND DEVELOPMENT BOARD Pastor Ernie and Carrie Bywater have been pastoring Northern Light Assembly of God in Kincheloe MI since Feb. of 1999. Prior to that they were at Southeastern College and working in youth ministry at Southside Assembly of God in Lakeland, Florida. Carrie has been the youth pastor at Northern Light since April of 1999. Ernie is a 14 year Air Force Veteran.
